Established by the Environmental Protection Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Recycle Fund aims to promote the recovery and recycling of waste by facilitating the upgrading of the operational capabilities and efficiency of the recycling industry for sustainable development. Under the “Enterprise Support Programme” (ESP), a solicitation theme “Projects from New and Start-up Enterprises” (SUP) aims to support new and start-up enterprises in adopting innovative ideas to facilitate recycling operations. Furthermore, the “Standard Project – $1M” (SP1M) under ESP enables small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to apply for the purchase of equipment from a specified list through a streamlined procedure. This allows applicants to implement the project to upgrade their operational efficiency and enhance their capabilities.
We cordially invite your company/ organisation to participate in the briefing session of the Recycling Fund, where you can learn about different schemes, application details and experience sharing. Under SUP, Plasticwood Studio will be invited to share how they collect plastic bottle waste from schools and upcycle it into recycled end products using a 3D printer, injection molding, and/or hot compress machine under the funding from Recycling Fund. In addition, N.T. New Materials Limited will share their experience in purchasing equipment such as forklift, pallet truck, conveyor belt and dust collector with the support of the Recycling Fund to enhance the efficiency of their recycling operations.
