The BUD Fund - Easy BUD Seminar To Explore New Markets through Exhibitions and Export Promotion Activities
The Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) is to provide funding support for Hong Kong enterprises in exploring and developing in Chinese Mainland, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (IPPAs) markets through developing brands, upgrading and restructuring their operations and promoting domestic sales. To strengthen the support to enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness and developing diversified markets, the geographical coverage has extended to 40 economies.
The SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) will be consolidated into the BUD Fund in July 2026, enterprises can continue to seek support through the BUD Fund - Easy BUD to participate in exhibitions and export marketing activities for market expansion.
To help enterprises adapt to this consolidation, HKPC, as the implementer, will conduct a seminar to introduce the “General Application”, “Easy BUD” and "E-commerce Easy". The session will cover the application guidelines, application procedure and assessment criteria. Following the seminar, a free one-to-one consultation would be offered to participants, for better understanding on the tips of application.
