Hydrogen Fuel Testing Laboratory Grand Opening

In alignment with the National’s 15th Five-Year Plan and the HKSAR Government’s new energy initiatives, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is committed to advancing Hong Kong’s development of hydrogen energy, new energy development, and battery recycling. We are pleased to launch Hong Kong’s first Hydrogen Fuel Testing Laboratory on 23 September 2026 (Wednesday), alongside the New Energy Summit 2026, marking a significant milestone in the city's new energy development.

The Hydrogen Fuel Testing Laboratory will strengthen Hong Kong's capabilities in hydrogen fuel testing, safety assessment and certification, supporting industry development while fostering alignment with national and international standards.
