Established by the Environmental Protection Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Recycle Fund aims to promote the recovery and recycling of waste by facilitating the upgrading of the operational capabilities and efficiency of the recycling industry for sustainable development. Under the Recycling Fund, the “Enterprise Support Programme” (ESP) aims to enhance and expand the recycling operations in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the solicitation theme “Projects from New and Start-up Enterprises” (SUP) under ESP aims to support new and start-up enterprises in adopting innovative ideas to facilitate recycling operations.
We cordially invite your company/ organisation to participate in the briefing session of the Recycling Fund, where you can learn about different schemes, application details and experience sharing. Under the ESP, Huan Yu Environmental Limited will be invited to share their approved project for purchasing additional equipment and recruiting additional staff to recycle waste concrete from construction sites and concrete batching plants. In addition, Contact Lens Easy Company Limited under SUP will share their experience in collecting waste contact lens plastic blister packs and delivering them to a local recycler and a local design workshop for recycling them into plastic pellets and eyeglasses frames respectively.
