Invitation for Industry Consultation - Challenges and Opportunities of Supply Chain Carbon Management
We would like to cordially invite you to participate in the Industry Consultation on Challenges and Opportunities of Supply Chain Carbon Management" organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC).
As global concern for climate change continues to grow, China has established targets for its product carbon footprint management system, while the European Union has implemented the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). These initiatives are driving the development of supply chain management and product carbon footprints and also reflect the market and customers' concern for sustainability.
In light of this, the Hong Kong Productivity Council will hold an industry consultation meeting to gather opinions from the industry on addressing these issues. During the event, we will share background information, regulatory content, and market developments related to supply chain carbon management. We also hope to engage in interactive exchanges with the industry.
