Hong Kong Biotechnology Training Courses:
Investment and Patent Protection for Biomedical Enterprises

To enhance the diversity and quality of talent in Hong Kong biomedical industry, and increase the industry’s competitiveness, the HKBMIA, with HKPC as the implementation agent, will organise a series of training courses, named “Investment, Financing and Patent Protection for the Bio-med Research and Development Enterprises”, which will cover topics such as the commercialisation and development of biomedicine research, investment, financing and patents for development enterprises, as well as technology transfer and process validation for drug research and development and production, etc.

In the first phase, we will include 3 lessons as below:

• Investment and Financing Process and  Key Points in Bio-industry
• Intellectual Property Protection and Risk Management in Bio-Industry
• Compliance and Legal Framework in Bio-industry’s Investment and Financing Process
